Exhibit AT Women's Park
VSA arts of Florida (VSAFL) in partnership with ArtAbilities at the Mailman Center for Child Development, University of Miami (UM) has transformed the UM ArtAbilities art work created by children with disabilities into a multi-faceted, fully accessible exhibition able to be experienced by children of all abilities. The show, "Art on the Move," will first be exhibited at the Assistive Technology Awareness Day Event at FIU and Women's Park on February 9 & 10, 2007, and will continue to be shown at the Women's Park site until February 26, 2007. "Art on the Move" will feature the use of cell phone technology to provide both audio and audio description information about the artworks, as well as selected tactile representations, and information about the artworks in both large print and braille formats.
