Miami-Dade Assistive Technology Awareness Partners, Incorporated (M-DATAP) announces its first annual Assistive Technology Awareness Day event to be held at FIU and Women's Park on February 9 & 10, 2007. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the capability of assistive technology to empower, educate and include persons with disabilities in all aspects of life.
This event will include a variety of presentations, exhibits, and demonstrations by vendors and community agencies as well as recreational activities and art displays. It is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about assistive technology is encouraged to attend.
